The first World Design Competition : JAN KEN PON, which was organized by IDNF in association with the Gifu prefecture government of Japan, held its exhibition in Gifu city at the Active G Showroom Gallery/World Design City. The exhibit ran from May 9th to June 12th, 2001. The exhibition's display was initially designed by Yoshiko Ebihara and Ayako Sugo of IDNF, and the installation was completed by Gifu city. The hundred or so panel entries and several prototypes were beautifully displayed along with the 3rd Annual Seki Cut Competition Grand Prize winner's product which was manufacutered by Gifu.
